Aps cai 65mm
Looking for one of these, anyone know if anyone supplies them in perth?
Are they worth the money, or should i be looking at spending the money elsewhere? (semi-ricer here so wouldnt mind the flutter/noise, but dont want to make the car slower.) |

I have an APS CAI .. Excellent unit, works well - Nice to know your motor is getting cool clean air.
65mm is also easily tunable and Verso compatible. Sounds fantastic. Power wise, you probably wouldn't get heaps from it .. but it's a supporting mod. Allows your turbo to suck freely with no restrictions. Last edited by RichX; 01-08-2007 at 08:49 PM. |

APS around $450 landed through Tim Slako @ West Racing Ozzy park. an excellent unit and is a straight bolt in, even with 06 STi

Just be careful as these are in the guard and not easy to check the condition. If it gets wet and shitty it will fuck your AFM if you are still running one. Other than that they are a very good unit. And yes I would see Tim Slako...

It's the GC8's which have the really sensitive AFM. 01+ this was cleared up significantly.
Go the CAI, and keep the filter clean and serviced. |

woah $450 for an intake is pretty pricey, was under the impression they were around the 350 mark.
Would I be able to get away without a tune? Im planning to get verso later down the track (only have cat back atm), but i wanted to do it once i have enough money for a few more mods (turbo back/possibly fmic). |
