try this..

intel E8400 - $259
gigabyte - GA-P35-DS3P - $199
8800 GT 512mb - $312
2gb DDR2 800mhz Ram - $79
500gb Western Digital 7200rpm HDD - $129
Corsair 620W PSU: $169

Main cpu system total : $1147 - all from netplus in ossie park.

add a dvd burner and a case ~ extra $150 on top.

too easy and it will be able to crank games for the next few years at least. and this system shits on philbo's ^^

yeah but mine actually does what he wants it to do to..........hdmi out for amp plus PLENTY of power and other things for the multiple applications plus mine works out to be about a $1300 pc for all of the above

yeah it would for someone not needing storage and just for gaming it would be sweet. I have a 8800gtx :-) so Im happy.....

Cool thanks John, Tode, Tim and Phil. Looks like I'll have to put a few items side by side before I get the end result

P.S Phil, that case should be the goods. If the guys you put me on to build it they should be able to get a few fans in there like yours. I'm just not sure if I want to go the quad core. Bit of overkill for my needs but the price difference is negligable. I'll shoot ya a PM when I have a chance to look it all up when I get back from the mine and we can confirm some prices!
