I'm looking at upgrading my PC. I currently have a pentium 4 with 360gig HD, 17" monitor, runs at 3.0ghz and has 1 gig of ram.

Im lookin at getting something faster and newer. Something along the lines of 4G of ram running at faster ghz and top of the range graphics (600meg+) and audio cards.

I wanna play a few of the new games that are out and soon to be ie halo 2, Call of duty 4, far cry 2, Crysis etc etc.

If anyone can point me in the right direction of someone who can put a package together without costing me the earth, it would be great. Or if there is someone on here in the industry, what can you do for me?

also have a look around, no matter what rig you get, it isn't gonna run crysis at full gfx. Also have a look into the new 9800 GT card, it out performs the gts/gtx at all res except 1600x1200 and is about half the price, this is due to the new gpu size, also smaller size card and producess less heat

Mate package systems always cost the earth i suggest building one or offering someone on here a slab to build one for you. Computer parts are cheap as chips now days i get all my parts from Net plus in Osbourne Park Link http://www.netplus.com.au/ always found then to be the cheapest and they have great customer service

No Such thing as a 9800gt from nvidia. not yet anyway.

I think you were thinking of a 8800GT.

Yeah I wanna build from scratch like I did with my current one. Im not full bottle on pc stuff so definitely need some help.

Quad core running at over 3.2ghz
at least 4gb ram
