I've got a pulsar which is my daily driver bunky while the rex rests at home and the SR20DE engine is a great substitute as a non turbo engine.

If you're looking for reliability at a cheap price, then x2 for a corolla.

when you see one absolutely abused for months - including being driven against a tree, brick of throttle for 10 minutes, pouring sand and shit into the motor including a marble, seeing it finally cough and die, wait 20 minutes, the start it and drive off again, you know they are pretty tough things

but when ive been driving to kwinana every day and parking it basically under a coal belt it gets kind of frustrating... feels like im going to age it real fast

so when its stuffed WOOHOO time for an upgrade....its a drivers car .... drive it i say.

Flame away I bought my wrx coz I like to drive it and I drive it when ever I can damn the kms hell sometimes I just drive it to go for a drive....Im by no means having a go if you want to keep ur kms low for what ever reason go for it. I just thought it was a funny quote and fitted well with how i feel about my driving habits wasnt asking any one to agree or disagree... for me if i was buying it for the long haul I would have got another family magna and only driven it when I had to. WRX is way too much fun to drive I dunno how you guys resist it.
