N/a to Turbo is a waste of time.
Compression ratio is all wrong, Ecu is all wrong......

Why would you bother?

Why wouldn't we tell him it's a bad idea? We are potentially saving him cash. What is the benefit of having a EJ20+T over a motor that was actually designed for turbo?

I was at JWS the other day and they can supply and fit a WRX engine and it will be far safer and in the end cheaper.
They can even supply a whole car and trans plant the whole running gear for very good prices.
If all else fails they will have a vast array of manifolds and turbos sat on the shelf.

Not sure if there is an off-the-shelf "kit" available but you can certainly source the parts you need from a place like JWS.

However, advice is totally justified here....it's what a forum is all about.

Turboing a non-turbo engine = expensive disappointment.
Either sell your car and get a turbo one, or do a turbo ENGINE conversion to your existing car.
