WTB- subaru engine block
i havnt been on this forum in a while and im throwing around the idea of doing a complete rebuild of a subi engine. im looking for an engine that someone is looking to get rid of, doesnt matter if it has done a bottom end or anything like that. i work at a large engine recon workshop and have access to all machines to fix it up. preferably want a 207 but will consider a 205 if the price was right

I have a 207 block from my v6 sti. complete with machined crank and rods, and pistons. (but all in pieces) let me know if you are interested.

hehehehe how good are you at repairing holes in blocks?
i have a version 8 jdm semi closed deck block complete with 3 pistons, 3 rods, crank, oil pump + large hole in top of casings |

ahaha not that good. havnt had much experience at lock and stitching blocks.

might try abit of 2 part epoxy. we have had blocks come in where the fitters have used 2 part epoxy to fix up corrosion on the block deck.
still not as dum as the fitters out on site that tried to change the oil in a komatsu 6d170 with it running. got checked out and it ended up spinning 5 out of 6 big ends and cracked the crank. 70k worth of damage |
