i asked Ramon this a while back at mms. He said as long as its properly sealed and no moisture etc can get in, should last a while.

Race Fuels WA reckon 1 month, but I've also heard plenty of theory supporting Ramon's thoughts on the long term storage as long as its sealed and stored correctly.
It's apparently not supposed to be stored on a concrete floor either as it can absorb moisture. |

the trouble is people confuse ethanol with methanol. what applies to one doesnt the other.
i tested the shelf life myself. i ran a drum down to 40lts, it had sat on concrete (without cardboard underneath) for about 6 months. i then ran the car right down and used this 40lts with nothing worth reporting apart from the raised anxiety levels due to naysayers. one rule, one simple rule to dating sucrogen's busty daughter, is no matter what you do, dont expose it to direct sunlight this includes in the drum or in decanting containers. tip, tune, enjoy! |
