You can't run that turbo under AASA either AFAIK - they wouldn't let Blaise use an Evo9RS turbo - he had to run a Evo6TME turbo.

More than likely wont run it anyway, but as mentioned it can be done but it would be disqualified if it won (i am in modern so up against 35 GTR's and Lambo's so there is no chance at all!)

At some stage the car will get a wide body conversion and turned into an STI (if i can be bothered or i punt it in the rear!) so it will run an STI turbo then!

There also is a rule and if i can find it i will post but it does state that you can change parts in the induction with other parts so long as they do the same job and remain in the standard location (can't remember the exact wording) and to be honest the way i interpreted the rule i came to the conclusion that i could run this turbo!

Blaise is in a category where he is challenging for the lead so he would have to keep it squeaky clean, but i don't have this problem! although i am going to stay very close to the rules or my interpretation of the rules!

A few more photo's to add

I have pulled out the old crappy suspension and replaced it with some bling!

Photo of the old stuff

And here is the MCA proflex in the rear

The fronts are still in QLD (hope they are not under water!) as i was sent the wrong ones, they are custom built and are the only set on earth for a betty wrx hatch

All the sway bars and cool stuff will be fitted after it comes back from being caged!

Oh almost forgot, i know i am going to get some strange comments from this but i did my research and it turned out to be true, i bought those Brembo's that were on the forum about 5 months ago that were both left handers. With a slight modification to the lines and pulled out the bungs at the bottom of one and swapped them out for new bleed nipple's! works like a charm and only ended up costing a total of $600!

Then all i needed eas a set of rotors to check them out and luckily Tino had a set of 4000's but i also have a set of 5000's, matched to a set of P MU HC+'s and it stops hard!

I'm still keen to grab the door speakers off you if you haven't thrown them out. Also the AT vs IT on the first dyno page is ... interesting

Yeah mate, the car should be back from the cage builders late next week, give me a shout and you can come get them!

Speaking of cage building here is a pic of it there, not much to see but it has started!

Also as i am such a Subaru tradic i just had to have these, they are Nicky Grist 6 point harnesses, there is nothing special about them (although they are great) but i though how can i have a Subaru rally car without Nicky Grist Harnesses!

I've got a pair of the same harnesses sitting here unopened in a box. They are pretty light and very well priced. Won't be able to pick the speakers up for a while, off to .jp tonight
