Rotas on a rally car!

Going on what you've spent on other components I thought you
would have got some strong track rims.

apart from people baging them on forums there is nothing really wrong with them, besides it is not gravel rally, yes there is a lot of g force put on them but they will be more than adequate!

Pictures say a hundred words and there a quite a few pics of
blown out Rotas to see that these might not be the best for
Motorsport applications.

Street duties for sure as they are a good looking bunch of rims
and very good on the pocket but better lighter Motorsport proven
rims can be had for only a few hundred extra.

All that said if you're happy with them and confident they will take
the stress and abuse of a Tarmac car then more power to you.

I also wanted to ask and I'm not bagging you in anyway just curious
as to your decision, how come you bought a Aus road going WRX
instead of importing a JDM Spec STi with the 2.0lt twinscroll with
all the goodies for race rally duties as this would have been a better
starting point.

very close, it wasn't an auction car but yes that is the reason!

why spend an extra $40k for twin scroll??? is it just so i can say i have twin scroll??? cos if it is i am not overly fussed!

i know this may seem like a silly project to some but there is method to my madness and it will become very clear over the next 3 months!
