Karina... If you recall we warned you about these costs before you got the car... you're lucky you didn't get that Rice Spec peanut eh :-).

Just relax with the mods.. there is no hurry.. you have a nice car right now, why not just concentrate on keeping up with the servicing and looking after it until you are in a better position with money.

I have waited since May last year to start my mods because I didn't have the spare cash.. GEEZUS I have been tempted to get rid of my car and get something cheaper too... but at the end of the day i have a good platform to work from and so do you.

Plus you could always get another job :-D

Craig you have an excellent point there too... every time I get upset about my car not being AWESOME I look at the dude in the Hyundai Excel next to me and think... life isn't that bad haha.

Most girls don't drive anything near as fast as a WRX... so I'd say that you're doing pretty well. As other people have said already, if you 'downgrade' to an older car, you are more at risk of spending money to maintain it.

Let me guess... you have a loan for your car and you can't afford to both pay the loan and mod the car?

Work extra shifts/overtime to get a bit of extra cash...
Or hold onto the car for longer until you are earning the right type of money to mod it.

Karina, unfortunately a "modding addiction" can have costs like a drug addiction

Take it step by step and try to avoid doubling up on labour costs when doing your mods. In the end, unless your doing the labour yourself it can add up quickly.

Date a mechanic & work at a workshop. I am constantly doing stuff to my car now cause labour is cheap/nothing. Hehehe
