MOMO order cancelled a second time with no explanation. This is really starting to piss me off.

To be honest, wouldn't bother re-trying. I got a black chrome Momo Gotham gear knob for Christmas in 2010. Awesome fit and finish, leather is great, just two problems:

1. you can't fit the lower screw cover because of the little extrusion that keeps the gear boot held up

2. The black finish wore off after about 6 months. Then the chrome started to peel... Considering how pricey it is, I would have expected better!

I can recommend the genuine STI pedal set though... Easy enough to install, look great, and they're a genuine factory fitted part to Australian delivered cars so no legal worries.

Thanks for the heads up. In that case bugger them. I'll put the money to better use.

I'll investigate the genuine STI pedal set then as my clutch pedal is missing the rubber and gets slippery on rainy days.

I guess I'll just go genuine for a new gear knob too (the material on mine is badly peeling off) and get the boot at the same time.
RUSSGT and squid like this.

Just FYI the pedal set (genuine) can be purchased from japanparts.com and here http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/sho...=pedal+install is a very helpful post regarding installation. Sorry if that info insulted your well-researched intelligence! Info was taken from this >> thread http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/wanted/2...ti-pedals.html

Thanks Top-Deck.

Hadn't started looking yet so no intelligence to insult (although that might always be the case).

Also on japan parts.com they have nice genuine knobs, better than the crappy leather knob it comes with from factory.
