I think the point everyone is trying to make is just because you can "fit" them doesn't make them practical or easy to live with.

RJ. Sorry just saw your question. 245 40 18 on mine. Rims are 18 x 9 @ + 38 running 1 degree of rear camber. Still get scrubbing in occasion.

Rise the car and go lower profile tyres. I run 265/35/18 18x9.5 offset 38, no rubbing, even on track day, -1.5 front, -2 rear. But I only lowered mine by 15mm, I can still fit two fingers in.

Cheers Mitch & S20525
I'm using 255/35 or 265/35 profile tyres, that was the plan from day one as I retain the same rolling diameter and overall diameter as the stock 17s and happy with 2 finger gap same as how it is with my eibach pros. Any 40 profile tyre would be impossible for me as would be so much larger than the stock 17 225/45 tyre height

Cheers Damo. Will test on that tyre size, if the tread width is too much I will go to a 235/40...it'll be a much taller tyre but not as wide and easier to tuck in. I'll update tomorrow when its on, hoping for the best with the 35 profile tyres and some Peter Major alignment magic

The tyres may be the same diamter as the standard ones on a equivalent wheel. Not when being stretched over a 9.5" wide rim.
