You're the only one with a 2.5L, did you see gains? or was it negligible?

Ive had kinugawa UELs and Tomioka ELs. Apart from the obvious UEL vs EL difference. The headers are virtually identical in construction and quality. Infact, the uppipes interchange perfectly. Robot welds look nice and presentation is good.
Gains. Its hard to say as i went to aftermarket headers when i changed alot of other things at the same time. I did think i felt a bit of gain on the bum dyno with the ELs, but this is yet to be confirmed on a real dyno.

My 204 was a 2.0lt and I never got around to installing the ones I put aside for myself, so unfortunately I can't help you there.

Definatley worth upgrading. Gained 30hp @ the hubs, and 35nm with just UEL SSI headers. Fitment was perfect.
I would go the Ultrex ones. $80 odd less minus shipping from Jap land. Quality is identical to mine. using the Perth-WRX mobile app

Has anyone actually measured the exhaust back pressure with stock headers and then aftermarket headers to compare?

I had 20 whp gain with ultrex el header, but it makes the car laggier. With bigger turbo, it doesn't do that anymore for some reason. Higher efficiency rang from the turbo maybe?

Ok you went ELs though, they're meant to assist high rpm more but you lose low range torque.
I'm staying with UELs...the kandos have a ~60 OD pipe which is supposed to flow better than the ~40 OD stock pipe. I still need to see some facts from someone who has tried the Kando UELs on their 257 to judge if they're worth any further budget raping, headers decision will be left to last anyway, all depending on final build cost.
