Can someone tell me if the MY01 and MY06 AOS would be the same or different due to the later model being 2.5L.

Are you referring to the type that screws onto the oil filler neck?, if so then it should fit. You just need to plumb it into the intake or where ever there's an oil breather eg top of rocker covers
